Multidisciplinary Artist & Photographer

I am a documentary photographer and creative entrepreneur whose work is rooted in storytelling as both a cultural and political act. I use photography, film, and sound to document lived experiences in South Africa and across the continent.  Beyond image-making, I work as a cultural practitioner, building platforms that support artists and create space for nuanced conversations within the visual arts, most notably through This Audio is Visual, a multidisciplinary platform dedicated to critical dialogue, education, and storytelling within the visual culture ecosystem.

The work I focus on sits at the intersection of documentary, culture, and community. Whether producing long-form documentary projects or developing multimedia platforms and conversations through This Audio is Visual, my aim is to create work that is honest, human-centered, and grounded in collaboration.

Pushing culture forward through my practice matters to me because representation alone is not enough; context, authorship, and intention are equally essential. Through This Audio is Visual, I am deeply committed to empowering others by sharing the knowledge and experiences I have gained, particularly within the creative arts.
