I am a Johannesburg-based fashion designer, stylist, and multidisciplinary creative working at the intersection of slow fashion, cultural storytelling, and ethical craft. My practice spans sustainable garment design, beading, denim reconstruction, fashion illustration, and editorial styling, using clothing as a visual language to explore identity, memory, and intention.
As a stylist, I approach dressing as world-building. I curate looks for individuals, artists, and creative projects with a strong focus on narrative, texture, and cultural context, often blending handcrafted pieces with upcycled, archival, and contemporary elements. My styling resists trend-driven aesthetics and instead prioritises authenticity, emotional resonance, and storytelling.
My design work actively challenges the disposability of fast fashion by centring handwork, process, and care. I am deeply invested in honouring the labour of women, seamstresses, and artisans whose contributions are often overlooked within mainstream fashion systems. Through small-batch collections, custom pieces, and beginner-friendly workshops, I create fashion that is intentional, accessible, and community-led.
Pushing culture forward, for me, means reclaiming time, skill, and story , proving that African creatives can lead global conversations around ethical fashion while remaining deeply rooted in craft, care, and community.
