I am a designer, an illustrator and a visual artist. My illustration work serves as a celebration of the beauty of the faces of people of colour. My visual art - in the form of paintings & mixed media - is inspired by my interactions with people. It is a reflection of the emotions that are sparked by my experience of people. The focus in my work can be summarised as an attempt at representing the things that go by, perhaps noticed, but underappreciated.

Culture is an enormous mode of identification. Without culture, many people undergo identity crisis. It is thus important to me that I contribute, through visual medium, to the progression of culture. Pushing culture forward through my practice allows me to create a checkpoint for those who are looking for an identity; looking for themselves. My practice is a kind of location for them to identify themselves.
