I am a fashion stylist who owns Styled by Sasa. A styling business that I created to make

finding your personal style less daunting simply by aligning it with your personality and

values. I believe that my work as a stylist should not be limited to photoshoots,

campaigns or formal events but rather make myself accessible to everyday South

Africans.

Styling is an art form that like many others is deeply personal and can be interpreted in

different ways. I believe that the way you style yourself sends a message to those

around you and even affects how you perceive yourself. So in the spirit of honouring

yourself I believe that there is so much value in pushing forward our cultures through

styling. Taking inspiration from traditional silhouettes, colours and applying them into

our everyday outfits or the other way around taking modern silhouettes and adapting

our traditional wear. Doing this brings us closer to our different identities and

strengthens not only our internal bonds but our bonds with each other.
