We are a woman-led media agency (iQHAWE Media) and the masterminds behind iQHAWE Magazine, an editorial platform dedicated to celebrating Africa’s creative heroes. Over the last five years, the magazine has reached over 1,000,000 people since its inception, becoming a trusted cultural voice within South Africa’s creative landscape and beyond.
At its core, iQHAWE Magazine exists to showcase and amplify emerging and underrepresented creative communities, while actively bridging the gap between these creatives and the industries they seek to enter and reshape. Through editorial storytelling, visual features, digital content, and community-focused initiatives, we spotlight creative journeys, lived experiences, and cultural contributions that are often overlooked by mainstream media.
This approach has allowed us to cultivate an audience-centric, insight-driven perspective, positioning iQHAWE as both a cultural archive and a forward-thinking platform within South African youth culture. More than a publication, iQHAWE is a space for connection, affirmation, and growth; by and for youth creative culture, committed to pushing narratives forward and building sustainable creative futures.
