I am a podcaster and media founder, working at the intersection of storytelling, archiving, and cultural documentation. I am the founder of Culture’s Biggest, a South African media platform established in November 2024 with a mission to document culture in its full scope — from underground movements to mainstream success.
My work focuses on long-form conversations with creatives across music, fashion, art, and nightlife, capturing their journeys, philosophies, and lived experiences in an authentic and respectful way. I believe storytelling is a form of preservation, and too often, influential creatives shape culture without their stories being properly archived or valued. Culture’s Biggest exists to change that.
From a young age, I was drawn to interviews and creative narratives, which sparked my appreciation for how stories shape legacy. As my connection to South African culture deepened, I noticed a lack of platforms that truly centre creatives without sensationalism or controversy. Through Culture’s Biggest, I aim to create a space that stands with creatives, not above them.
We’ve completed our first podcast season featuring impactful voices and recently launched The Culture’s Retreat, an initiative supporting and connecting the DJ community. Pushing culture forward through my work matters because representation, documentation, and authenticity ensure that creative contributions are respected, remembered, and accessible for future generations. For me, impact outweighs numbers — culture is the legacy.
