I work across media, creative direction, and cultural documentation, using my platform Jupitersarchivs as a living archive of South African and Pan-African youth culture and creativity. At the core of my practice is curation, not just showcasing work I find here and there, but providing context, narrative, and longevity to the people and movements shaping culture right now.
Through our interviews, visual storytelling, event coverage, and photoshoots, I spotlight emerging and established creatives across design, fashion, art, music and street culture, with a strong focus on those who are often unseen or underrepresented.
Beyond publishing, my work is rooted in building opportunity. In my free time, I creative direct projects, shoots, and concepts that give the people I feature tangible exposure, whether that’s visibility to brands, access to new audiences, or positioning them within conversations that aid to their movement.
What drives me is the belief that African culture deserves to be documented with care, ambition, and global intention. My long term goal is to bridge the gap between SA media and the world by bridging borders, collaborating internationally, and telling our stories from a Pan-African perspective. We are living in a beautiful moment for Africa, one defined by confidence, innovation, and constant reinvention. My role is to capture it honestly, amplify it boldly, and ensure it resonates beyond our immediate context for future generations to use as a point of reference. Culture moves fast, but legacy is built through intention, and that’s the work I’m just trying to to here.
