I am a visual artist born in Johannesburg, South Africa, whose practice is rooted in storytelling, cultural pride, and bold self-expression. My work seeks to redefine the contemporary creative art space by offering a fresh and vibrant perspective on Black art, one that is unapologetic, expressive, and grounded in lived experience. Through colour, form, and narrative, I explore identity and representation while challenging traditional perceptions of what Black art can be in a modern context.

At the core of my practice is the creation of unapologetically Black art that speaks directly to today's youth. I aim to produce work that empowers, affirms, and reflects the realities and aspirations of a new generation. Each piece serves as a visual narrative, designed to spark curiosity, ignite passion, and foster dialogue within our communities. My art is not only a personal expression, but also a call to recognise the power of visibility and self-definition.

Shaping the creative community is important to me because it helps inspire others to take the leap of faith and share their unique stories through a modern lens. I believe creativity thrives when stories are shared boldly and authentically. By contributing to and nurturing this community, I hope to create space for emerging voices, foster confidence in creative risk-taking, and collectively push Black art forward into new, dynamic spaces.
