I am a photographer, director and the founder of Meteora Media, a South African production company rooted in youth-centred storytelling and bold visual expression. While my practice spans directing and photography, my primary focus is production as a whole, where I build concepts from the ground up, formulate a team and translate everything I put together into striking imagery.
My work is defined by strong contrasted intentional grading and a fresh visual language that reflects the energy, confidence, and complexity of South African youth culture. I am deeply interested in image-making that feels current yet timeless, visuals that can exist both locally and on the global stage. Through my practice, I aim to challenge how South African creatives are seen, positioning us not as followers of global trends but as the blueprint itself.
Pushing culture forward matters to me because representation at leadership level matters. As a Black South African creative woman, I want to be visible in roles that are often inaccessible to us. I am and want to be seen as a founder, decision-maker, and head honcho within the industry. My work is not only about aesthetics, but about creating pathways and shifting perception. It is important that we show what is possible when we own our own stories and operate with confidence and intention. Bringing South Africa to the world, on our own terms, is at the heart of everything I create.
