My name is Ntethelelo Mncwango, professionally known as LELO THEART. I am a visual artist and
storyteller whose work is deeply rooted in community, culture, and everyday lived experiences. Art
matters to me because it gives me a voice and a way to communicate stories that are often
overlooked or left untold. Through colour, form, and bold visual language, I translate emotions and
ideas into meaningful artwork that connects with people on a human level. My creative practice
focuses largely on murals and public art, where I am able to engage directly with communities and
transform ordinary spaces into places of pride, reflection, and inspiration. I believe that art has the
power to uplift, to spark conversation, and to create a sense of belonging. Each project I work on is
approached with intention, care, and respect for the environment and the people who interact with
it. My work reflects my South African roots and my passion for storytelling through visuals that are
simple, bold, and accessible. Art is not just my profession; it is my purpose. Through LELO
THEART, I aim to create lasting visual experiences that inspire positivity, celebrate identity, and
leave a meaningful impact long after the artwork is seen.
